She was predeceased by : her parents, Morris Offricht and Ruth Corbat; her husband Howard D. Lewis; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Dworkin and Marjorie Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Alex, Erica and Jesse Lewis; her daughter-in-law Leah Backus; her grandchildren, Lindsey, Matthew and F. C. Lewis; her sister Lois Dworkin; her friend Joan; and also, Rachel and Deborah Dworkin. She is also survived by cousins, taking her kid.
