He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Newcomb and Edna Newcomb (Green); his wife Mary Newcomb (Brisbin); and his daughters, Tina Newcomb Gerkin and Dawn Newcomb.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Newcomb (Susan) of North Carolina and Julie Brazie (Jarrid) of Stephentown. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
