He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Garavelli and Catherine Gannon; his brother Thomas Garavelli; and his brother-in-law Dickie Lostritto. He is survived by: his children, John A. Garavelli Jr. (Amy) and Andrea Garavelli (Sean Dougherty); his siblings, Linda Lostritto and Fred Garavelli (Janice); his sister-in-law Susan Garavelli; and his former wife Diane (James Miller). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
