Peckowitz of Colonie, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob J. Peckowitz and Beatrice Ashwell Peckowitz; his wives, Patricia Ann Peckowitz and Grace Irene Peckowitz; his sister Sandra Kicinski; his brother-in-law Stash Kicinski; and his stepson Vincent M. Powers.

He is survived by : his girlfriend Pam Cross; his children, Joan Cook, Mary Lovely (William), John Peckowitz, Jr. (Maureen), Michael Peckowitz and Joseph Peckowitz (Erin Pollay); his sisters, Carol Heyer (Bob) and Sheila Root (Larry); his stepchildren, Cathy Secor (Scott), Debra Powers and Mark Powers; his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Dylan, Nicholas, Sheylynn, Autumn, Courtney, Kelli, Sean, Ryan and Caitlyn; his great grandchild Kennedy; and his pet Skippy.
