He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgina Amell (Bain) and Warren Amell; his brother Steven Amell; and his grandson Blake. He is survived by: his children, Jason Amell, David Amell, Christina Amell and Jessica Amell; his grandchildren, Daniel, Austin, Shane, Sean, Dallas, Bayleigh, Alexander, Noah and Andrew; his siblings, Sandy, Charles, Dennis, Glenn, Mark and Brian; and his close friend Linda Amell Becker. He is also survived by his extended family; numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM.
