We announce the death of Ulysses Wallace of Colonie, New York, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 79. Ulysses will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Wallace and Thenia Wallace; and his siblings, Nancy and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Sherlene Norwood; his son Kevin (Crystal); his siblings, Alger (Colleen), Phyllis of Baltimore, MD. and Donald (Rosalyn); his sisters-in-law, Ponzetta of Raleigh, NC and Virgina Norwood; and his granddaughter Kailyn of Springfield, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan New Testament Mission Baptist Church (105 2nd St, Albany, NY 12210). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2150 Central Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304).
