He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Piurek and Clara Piurek (Walag). He is survived by: his wife Roberta J. Piurek (Silka); his daughters, Kathleen M. Baker and Cynthia M. Card (Timothy); his grandchildren, Alyssa M. Baker, Lauren E. Baker, Dylan M. Card and Morgan N. Card; his sister Diane L. Trzaskos (David); his godson Scott M. Trzaskos (Jessica); and his niece Sheri A. Roberts (Todd). He is also survived by several grand-nieces and a grand-nephew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Our Light Catholic Church (1 Maria Dr, Albany, NY 12211).
