He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Johnson and Susie Johnson (Billups); his wife Lizzie McIntosh; and his son Willie Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Johnson, Yvette Allen and Sheila Harding; his son-in-law Nigel Harding; his grandsons, Ricky Allen, Jordan Harding, Miles Harding, Brandon Harding and Ian Harding; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Roberts and Leslie McIntosh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Willie's name may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
