He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Scovil and Amber Scovil (Beckstead); his sons, Jamie and Jeremy Scovil; and his brothers, Merton, Carson and Grayden Scovil.
He is survived by: his wife Leota Young Scovil; his son Jeffrey Scovil (Denise) of Colton; and his grandchildren, Jamie Johnson (Joshua), Carrie Kraszewski and Justin Scovil. He is also survived by 7 great- grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
