He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ruf and Florence Ruf (Elter); his wife Beverly L. Ruf; and his children, Tommy Ruf and Laurie Jager (Gary).
He is survived by: his children, Sheree Ruf, Jim Ruf, Steven Ruf (Denise) and Jerry Ruf (Kathy); his grandchildren, Nichole Ruf, Alyssa Ruf (Tim Dempsey), Chris Ruf (Callan), Stephanie Ruf (Olivia), Taylor Jager (Katie), Brianna Bruno (Nick), Phillip, Danielle and Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Max, Sienna, Beckett and Kaia.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morganville Cemetery (8407 Morganville Rd, Stafford, NY 14143).
