He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Unger and Jean Unger Sr. (Scheel); and his siblings, Richard Unger Jr. and Debbie Sodeman. He is survived by: his wife Sandy L. Unger (Ryan); his children, Tammy, Lisa, Danielle, Kelly (Jason) and Kevin; and his siblings, Linda Unger, Glenn Unger, Kay Knowlton, Sandy Olyer and Stanley Unger. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a hospice house of one's choice.
