We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Cheryl Shortal of Congers, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Grace and Ethel Grace. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Cravello Jill (Brad); her grandchildren, Alison Henry Gregory Cravello (Todd), Ashley Griffin (John Emmett), Danielle Armesto (Andres) and Ean Cotier; her great grandchildren, Luke Henry, Reagan Henry, Emmett Griffin, Carolena Armesto, Beckham Griffin and Cristian Armesto; her sister Penny Dianis (Jack); her significant other Dennis Shortal; and her daughter Heidi Shortal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael J Higgins Funeral Home (321 S Main St, New City, NY 10956). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Pauls Church (82 Lake Rd, Congers, NY 10920). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery.
