Eileen Marie Greis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen Marie Greis (Congers, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Coyne (Herlihy) and James Coyne; her husband Gary; her brothers, Rev. James F. Coyne, Raymond Coyne and Gerard Coyne; her sister-in-law Kathy Coyne; and her niece Ginger Smith-Rocchio.
She is survived by: her children, James Brian (Shalan) and Ellen; her siblings, Ann Marie Smith (Arthur) and Vincent Coyne (Peggy); and her sister-in-law Sally Coyne. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home (113 Lake Rd, Congers, NY 10920). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (82 Lake Rd, Congers, NY 10920).
In lieu of flowers, Eileen's favorite charities are the American Cancer Society, Hospice, or the T2T Foundation.
