He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cardinuto and Josephine Cardinuto; his siblings, Jimmy and Carole; and his nephews, Jimmy and Christopher.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his siblings, Anthony (Diane), Emily, Rosemary (Peter) and Jerry (Donna); his daughters, Jean and Lori; his son-in-law Anthony; and his grandchildren, Angelo, Gabriel and Harper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to Life Rolls On, a foundation that inspires infinite possibilities beyond disability through adaptive surfing and other events; a cause close to Joe's heart that he proudly supported and attended for 15 years.
