She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Conto and Carl "Curley" Conto (LePage); her brother Albert Conto; and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Ella Simonsen.

She is survived by: her husband John J. Gokey Jr. of Constable; her brothers, Gene Conto (Sue) and Bruce Conto (Teresa); and her children, Mary Kay Simonsen (Tony Bissette), Mark Simonsen (Lisa), Christopher Simonsen, Eric Gokey (Alice) and Todd Gokey (Nicole). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (5 Poplar St, Constable, NY 12926). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Constable Volunteer Fire Department.
