With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leighton McElwain of Constantia, New York, born in Fort Covington, New York, who passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parent Dorothy McElwain; his stepfather Lyle; and his former life partner Joyce. He is survived by : his wife Terry of Bernadette's Church; his children, Michael McElwain (Dawn) and Kayleigh McElwain (Clayton Wisinski); his brother Bruce McElwain (Marge); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Gus and Grace; and his great grandchild Bentley. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mike's honor to the Constantia Fire Department or the North Shore Ambulance.
