With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen J. Metcalf of Constantia, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Metcalf and Judy Metcalf of Corning, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lynne Metcalf (Hart); his stepdaughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Brandon Lingo; his grandchildren-in-law, Freya and Calliope Lingo; his children, Alexandria Metcalf and Brady Metcalf (Megan); his sister Stephanie Marcum (Zach); and his nieces and nephews, Isabella, Nicholas and Maddie Carapella.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (17 W Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's name can be made to either the Vanderbilt snowmobile Club of Constantia NY, or the Constantia VFW Post 7325 online.
