We announce the death of Patricia L. Shakshober (Copake Falls, New York), who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart Lindsay and Mary Elizabeth Lindsay (Hart); her husband John H Shakshober; her daughter Lynne G Shakshober; and her daughter-in-law Dori Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Caryl Shakshober of Venice, FL, Susan Shakshober (David Reeder) of Arlington, TX, Stuart M. Shakshober (Marta) of Churchtown, NY, Patricia MacArthur (John) and D. John Shakshober (Colleen) of Townsend, MA.; her grandchildren, Jamie Riell (Carol), David Reeder Jr. (Jill), MacLean Shakshober, Callie Shakshober, Sarah MacArthur, John L. MacArthur, Jennifer Shakshober (David O'Leary) and Mary Shakshober-Crossman (Matthew Crossman); her great grandchildren, Jake, Kip, Owen Reeder, Jack O'Leary, Chloe and Avery Riell; and her sister Sandra Ormerod of Malvern, PA. She is also survived by 3 nieces, along with many grand nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes (8063 NY-22, Copake, NY 12517).
