It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard O. Fournier of Copake, New York, born in Newport, Vermont, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arcade Fournier and Alexandrine Fournier (Jacques); his wife Irene Fournier (Girouard); and his son George Fournier. He is survived by : his children, Anita Kosnik (Kelly), Rene (Karen), Donald (Gail) and Ronald Fournier (Barb); and his grandchildren, Abigail Farrara, Danny Fournier, Ashley Kristjansson and Michael Fournier. He is also survived by Seven great grandchildren, two sister, two brothers.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Homes (8063 NY-22, Copake, NY 12516). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Leonard's memory may be made to the Community Hospice of Columbia and Greene Counties, 47 Liberty St., Catskill, NY 12414.
