Brian James Shay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brian James Shay of Corning, New York, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonner "Pete" Shay and Alyce M. Shay (Smith); and his pet Maddie Jane. He is survived by: his daughter Tera (Michael Smithmen); his grandson Carter Smithmen; his siblings, Betsy Gleason of Beaufort, SC, Tim Shay (Patti) of Elmira, NY, Mike Shay (Lark) of Donora and Peggy Shay (Marty) of Nelson; his aunt Louise; and his uncle Bill Hall of Elkland, PA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
