With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David A. Scott (Corning, New York), who passed away on November 6, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Scott and Sharon Scott (Cushing). He is survived by: his wife Lois Rice; his children, Amy Erhard (Joseph) of Elmira, David Scott Jr. of Corning and April Gebhardt (AJ) of Wibaux, MT; his stepchildren, Carrie Thomas (Donald) of Chenango Fork, NY, Donald Rice (Lori) of Caton and Lisa Fox (Michael) of Greene, NY; his grandchildren, Brent, Alicia, Alexis, Vallerie, Savannah, Lance and Logan; his stepgrandchildren, Justin, Taylor, Tiffany, Dylan, Nathaniel, Levi, Caleb, Keegan, Camden, Jevin, Jediah, Jordan, Alayna and Aubrey; his great grandchildren, Axel and Trinity; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aviana, Axel, Luke, Gracelyn and Oakley; and his siblings, Bonnie Folden (Larry), Timothy Scott (Jill) of Troupsburg, Ronald Scott (Sue) of Corning, Kathy Ross of Painted Post and Kim Eiffert of Cohocton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carpenter's Funeral Home (14 E Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 2032 Chambers Road, Beaver Dams, NY.
