He is survived by: his children, Susan Shaner of Newark, Michael (Christie Kerwan), James (Robin Kerwan) and Thomas (Lynnette Kerwan); his grandchildren, David, Ayla, Patrick, McKenna, Peyton, Jessyka, Zachary, Hillary, Abbygale, Roni, Emma and Lily; his brother-in-law John Vanderhoef of Campbell; his nephews, Charlie and Joey; and his children-in-law, Debra Kerwan and Ronald Shaner. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
