She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thornton and Mary Thornton; her sister Miriam Hill; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Farris and Michael Lowery.
She is survived by: her husband James Lowery; her children, Victor Russo, Jessica Russo and Alexis Distler (Alex); her granddaughter Cecily Russo; and her sister Barbara Farris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. (216 E 1st St, Corning, NY 14830). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (155 State St, Corning, NY 14830).
