She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cook and Ethel Cook; her siblings, Paul, Mahlon Sr., Walter Jr., Carrie Mae, Beulah and Doris; her daughter-in-law Dinone Stanton; her grandchildren, Dylan McCain and Kimberly Stanton-Carroll; and her great grandchild JoSeth Stanton.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin (Mary), Keith Stanton and Candace Hart (Gary); and her sisters, Ruth Smith (Melvin) and Grace Campbell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. (216 E 1st St, Corning, NY 14830). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Ministry at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church in Esther's name.
