He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Morse-Spangenberg and Wilfred Llewellyn Spangenberg; and his siblings, Vernon Spangenberg and Sue DeCamp. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Spangenberg of Bradford, NY; his children, Gordon Spangenberg (Veronica) of Savona, NY, Autumn Cover (Travis) of Spring Grove, PA, Lindsey Spangenberg (Aaron) of Campbell, NY and Olivia Francischelli (Rob) of Beaver Dams, NY.; his grandchildren, Bailea "Boo" Spangenberg, Brianna Cover, Hailee Cover, Brody "Brodster" Spangenberg, Bentley Nichols, Sophie Seidenstricker, River "Riverton" Nichols of Blakely, Waylon "Willy" Spangenberg and Brynnlee "Emmy" Spangenberg; his close friend Rip; his siblings-in-law, Janet Spangenberg (Jane Ullman) and Donny Ullman; and his close friends, Todd, Tracy Harrian, Clyde, Nancy Blencowe and Polly-O. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
