He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Carl and Charlotte Carl (Sholter); and his siblings, John "Jack" Carl of Williamsville, NY and Dawn Hannel of Quincy, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jo; his sons, David Carl of Buffalo, NY and Jimmie Joe Carl (Lisa) of Corning; his grandchildren, JoLynn Carl, Benjamin Carl, Alexandra Crouch (Stephen) and Ellie Carl; and his great grandchild Claire Louise Crouch.
