He was predeceased by: his parents, Mortimer Lynch and Dorothy Lynch (Hanson); his sister Gerry; and his parents-in-law, Lenora and Rudolph Gallup.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lynch of Corning; his children, Shawn Lynch of Davenport, FL, Brian Lynch (Cindy) of North Dakota and Tracey McLaughlin (Christopher Asiello) of Corning; his grandchildren, Joshua Lynch, Kendra, Makenzie Fish, Colin and Abbey McLaughlin; his brothers, Mortimer and Jim Lynch (Anne); his nieces, Dorothy Michaels and Leah Rakowski; and also, Vincenzo and Lachlan Asiello. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Phillips Funeral Home (17 W Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ulster Cemetery.
