We announce the death of Joyce A. Jaynes of Corning, New York, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dann and Julia Allyn Dann; her husband Robert Jaynes; her siblings, Lester Dale Dann (Sharon), Charles Dann, Gerald Dann (Judith) and Marilyn Dann; her nephew Dennis Dann; and her brothers-in-law, Raymond Zoerb and Clarence Southwick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Konopski (Douglas) of Corning and Debra Wilson (Paul Jr.) of Van Etten; her grandchildren, Joshua Wilson (Danielle) of Spencer, Nicole Putman (Christopher) of Raleigh, Jessica Sheridan (Kyle) of Spencer, Melissa Bailey of Milton, Pennsylvania, Brittany O'Konski (Brandon) of Corning and Melanie Pinterpe (Alec) of Blasdell; her sisters, Charlotte Green (Ron) of Painted Post and Evelyn "Daisy" Southwick of Painted Post; and her sister-in-law Kathy Palmisano of Webster. She is also survived by her family, especially her 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, dear friends.
Those wishing to honor Joyce's memory may make donations to the Diaper Bank at First Baptist Church in Painted Post or to the Food Pantry at the United Church of Painted Post.
