She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Willour and Vivian Willour (Strauss); her husband Donald Nissen; and her son Michael Nissen. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Lovell (Kevin) of Addison, NY and Keith Nissen (Diane) of Delaware, OH; her grandchildren, Zachary Lovell (Patricia) and Krista Carlson (Shawn); and her great grandchildren, Harper, Lincoln Lovell, Sophia and Amelia Carlson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carpenter's Funeral Home (14 E Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hope Cemetery Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joyce's name may be made to the Steuben County Office for the Aging, 3 E. Pulteney Square, Bath, NY 14810, or to a local SPCA.
