He is survived by : his wife Nancy McUmber; his children, Kathie Lou Swarthout, Karen Swarthout, Dawn Snyder, Ken Swarthout, Greg Swarthout, Michael Swarthout, Sheila Swarthout, Billy Swarthout and Lore Quick; his stepchildren, Michael Konopski and Michele Fitch; and his siblings, Gordon Swarthout (Betty), Keith Swarthout (Carol), DeeDee Allington (Leroy), Gladys Easling (Richard) and Cynthia Baker. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
