We announce the death of Leda Ann Williammee of Corning, New York, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 66. Leda Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Cox and Beulah J. Cox (Sellard); and her brother Roger Cox. She is survived by: her daughter Mellissa Sorensen (Ryan) of Kingston, NY; her sister Joyce M. Horton of Corning, NY; her nieces, Jessica Horton of Golden Valley, ND, Rachael Horton of Corning, NY and Rochelle Horton of Oswayo, PA; her nephew Raymond Harndon (Emily) of Corning, NY; her stepmother Carolyn Davis of Corning, NY.; and her pet Buddy.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 100 Nasser Civic Center Plaza, Corning, NY 14830.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leda's memory may be made to an animal shelter or SPCA of your choice.
