He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Downing and Frieda Downing. He is survived by: his daughter Kate Downing (Ryan Pomeroy); and his pet Loki.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chemung County SPCA in Robert's memory, where he adopted Loki, and in honor of his love for animals.
