We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, at the age of 81, Ronald Edward Ruter (Corning, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Ruter and Madeline H. Ruter (Moulthrop); and his brother Allen Ruter. He is survived by: his children, Renee Morse (Alan) of New York, Richelle Pilato of New York, Melanie Jones (Brian) of Florida, Kristin Diaz (Marco) of Florida, Elisabeth May of New York, Zacharias Ruter (Heather) of New York and Seth Ruter (Amanda) of Utah.
