With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharleen Reidy (Corning, New York), born in Elmira, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sharleen left this world on May 18, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Sayles and Morris Reidy; her sister Jeannine Kies; and her parents-in-law, Don Rettberg Sr. and Jo-Ann Rettberg.
She is survived by: her husband Don Rettberg, Jr.; her son Don Rettberg III; her stepmother Pauline Reidy; her brothers, Walter Reidy (Diane), George Reidy and John Lee (Ellen); and her siblings-in-law, Desiree Doran, Kim Winters (Bruce), Jay Rettberg, Craig Rettberg and Charles Leichner (Shari). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
