He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Sutherland and Margaret Sutherland (Calkins); his brother Gregory Sutherland; and his son Adam Michael Sutherland. He is survived by: his sons, Raleigh Sutherland (Kate) and Anthony Sutherland (Michelle); his siblings, Peter (Deborah) and Kris Pashley (Jack); and his close friend Cecilia Palmer. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren.
