He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riff and Dorothy Riff (Hodge); his son Gregory James Riff; his brothers, Phillip Riff, Robert "Rabbit" Riff and Steve "Weiner" Riff; and his nephew Kevin Riff.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Gridley-Riff; his children, Kristen Crans (Glenn), Teresa Taft (Colin) and Douglas; his daughter-in-law Stacie Riff; his siblings, David Riff (Marilyn) and Linda Saunders (Brian); his grandchildren, Caleb Chaffee, Connor Taft and Liberty Taft; his uncle Ron Hodge; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Riff, Mary Riff and Sue Garlington; and his close friend Pixie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. (216 E 1st St, Corning, NY 14830).
