He was predeceased by: his father William Hilliard; his stepfather Ted Frawley; his uncle Douglas Adriance; and his aunt Sandra Adriance. He is survived by: his mother Linda Hilliard (Frawley) of Painted Post; his wife Melody Hilliard; his sons, David Fero (Sarah) of Horseheads and Joseph Hilliard of Elmira Heights; his grandsons, Elliot and Philip Fero; his brother Brian Hilliard (Dawn) of Horseheads; his cousins, Jim Adriance of Vestal and Kim Hill of Minnesota; his nephews, Hunter Hilliard of New Mexico and Joseph Lackey of Cameron; and his niece Emily Nero (Jordan) of Gillett.
