It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Howells III in Corning, New York, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Midge" Howells, and Alice Howells, Jr. (Morgan); and his sister Pearl Taylor (Carl). He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Howells and Meg Aiosa (David); his grandchildren, Amelia Ocampo (James), Harper Aiosa and Ethan Aiosa (Victoria); and his brother Rober.
