He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Van Houten (Duncker); his children, Jennifer E. Van Houten, John W. Van Houten III (Samantha) of Cornwall, NY and Christopher E. Van Houten (Emily) of New Windsor, NY; his grandchildren, John W. Van Houten IV, Audrey Laine Van Houten, Julian John Van Houten and Aurora Rose Van Houten; his half-brother Paul C. Sevik Jr. (Tarryn) of Fort Montgomery, NY; his father-in-law Ernest A. Duncker of Mesquite, NV; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas E. Duncker of Mesquite, NV and Robert P. Duncker (Teresa) of Milford, PA. He is also survived by his nieces, uncles and cousins.
