With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael J. Shanley of Cornwall, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Michael has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He is survived by : his parents, Brenda and Jim; his wife Brigid; his son Liam; and his brothers, John and Hilary (Clara).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home Inc. (337 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, NY 10992).
