It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Wersebe of Cornwall, New York, who passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Smith and Carita Smith (Kempster); and her son Patrick J. Wersebe. She is survived by: her sons, Mark E. Wersebe (Diane) of Felton, DE, Robert L. Wersebe (Kathleen) of Wallkill, NY and Timothy A. Wersebe (Theresa) of New Windsor, NY; and her close friend Donald C. Perry of Cornwall, NY.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
