She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Blaine and Mary Blaine (Dicks); her husband Raymond Richard McCowen; and her siblings, Jerome, Michael, John, Joseph, Dorothy, Margaret, Sheila, Mary, Joan, Patricia and Josie.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Sue McPhillips (Russell Karrick), Terri Ann Clearwater (David), Vickie Marie Fitzgerald (Tom), Mary Ann Fremgen (John) and John Anthony McCowen (Robin); her grandchildren, Jackie, Megan, Cait, Therese, Stephen, Kenny, Catherine, Andrew, Patrick and Ella; and her brothers, Donald and Walter. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home Inc. (337 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Church (340 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520).
