It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bartolomeo DiPietro of Cortland, New York, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Timothy, Jasmine, Josiah, Bart (April) and Cole (Kinzley); his stepgrandchildren, Tanner and Tia; his wife Lesa DiPietro; his sons, Bart (April) and Phil; his brother Guy DiPietro; and his sister-in-law Cheryl DiPietro of Erie, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Abingdon (185 Old Jonesboro Rd, Abingdon, VA 24210). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Christian Church of Abingdon, Golden Agers, in honor of Bart's life and faith.
