He was predeceased by: his wife Renate; his son Bruce Lawrence Adams, Jr. (Sandy); his parents, Eula Lambert and Irvin Adams; and his sister LaRita Garoutte.

He is survived by: his son Patrick Adams (Sherri); his grandchildren, Jon Adams (Carolanne), Erika Marble (Kenneth) and Michael Adams; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Marble, Aria Marble and Scott Adams.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wright - Beard Funeral Home Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (7 NY-281, Cortland, NY 13045).
