She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy R. Summerson and Virginia T. Summerson; her aunt Lucielle M. Gowan; her cousin Patrick E. Gowan; and her grandparents, Neff Edward and Philomena Agnes Taylor.
She is survived by: her sister Sharon Lea Summerson; her children, Emily Rose Billingsley and Jake Edward Billingsley (Karen); her cousin Lisa Hamilton (Gowan); and her uncle Larry Gowan.
