We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 68, Denise Ellen Whitted of Cortland, New York, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Vandermark and Marjorie Brown Simms. She is survived by : her children, Michelle Davis, Amanda Beyer (Robert), Ramona McConnell (Eric), Christopher Vandermark (Lauren), Joshua Cannon, Jenell Arcan (Dan) and Jake Elliott (Sarah); her brothers, Theodore Vandermark II (Susan) and James Vandermark (Melissa); and her nieces, Rachel Ward (Shannon), Katerina and Tiffani Vandermark. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
