She was predeceased by: her son Kevin; her parents, William Peterson and Marjorie Peterson; and her sister Gloria Peterson. She is survived by: her daughter Kristen Lockhart (Kinley Koop); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Ian Lockhart; her brothers, Russell (Robert Burns) and Alan Peterson; her brothers-in-law, Fred DeMaso (Mary Ellen Devlin) and Stuart Grasmeyer; and her close friends, Annette, Dennis, Joshua, Samantha and Helaena.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Cemetery (7 NY-281, Cortland, NY 13045).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Center for the Arts of Homer, a place she loved, in memory of Heidi.
