She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scheftic and Anna Scheftic; her husband Lee R. Alexander of Cortland; and her siblings, Catherine Daley Talley (Monroe), Paul (Anna May) and George Scheftic (Roselle).
She is survived by: her in-laws, Charles, Margery Alexander and Stuart Alexander; her brother Charles Scheftic (Jean); her sisters-in-law, Edith Alexander and Carol Scheftic; her children, Sally Acomb (Timothy) of Canandaigua, NY, Mary Silsbe (Robert) of Downingtown, PA, Donald (Kathy) of Alto, MI and Richard (Michael LaFosse); her grandchildren, Bryan Acomb (Tara), Mark Acomb (Sheena Templeton), Jaime Alexander (Bradley Schneider) and Lauren Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Maxwell, Isabell Schneider, Emma and Stella Hutson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Neptune Hose Co. #1 of Dryden, Inc. Fire Department or Holy Cross Church, Freeville, NY.
