He is survived by: his wife Jutta Iacovelli; his sister Mary Ann Iacovelli; his nieces, Anne-Marie Pett (Donald) and Mary Wirtz (David); his nephew Gabriel Iacovelli; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Travis Pett (Amanda), Lindsay Pett Matsuda (Alistair), Melanie Wirtz, Matthew Wirtz and Stella Iacovelli. He is also survived by his family, friends, and animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the SPCA of Cortland County in Joe's memory, honoring his lifelong love of animals and his commitment to their care and well-being.
