It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Phelps of Cortland, New York, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert W. Phelps; and his brother Thomas Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Machell Phelps; his children, Robbie Phelps (Jenn) and Jenna Kronenwetter (Brian); his granddaughters, Sadie Kronenwetter and Vanessa Phelps; his mother Ruth Phelps; his siblings, John Phelps, Timothy Phelps (Tonya Upholz) and Robin Phelps Canale; his uncle Al Stauber; and his pet Beasley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045).
